Droids make perfect trainers due to the fact that they can reproduce a technique precisely, and perform it endlessly, and they can even slow their speed and reaction time to suit even the newest beginer.
The corporation of Trang Robotics is the largest of the players in an exlusive and patrician market, and its Duelist Elite has served as the preeminent trainer for a generation of promising fencers, and new competitors have come close to duplicating its limber grace, lighting parry, and inerring lunge. The torso of the droid resembles that of a Too-Onebee surgical droid, but the Duelist`s arms are longer and more durable than the Too-Onebee`s.
The droids swiveling socket joints allow for a very wide range of movement, and its sensitive internal gyroscope give this droid a superior sense of balance. The droids glowing red circle in its torso will trigger a loud beep when hit in this area, and in low-difficulty training this will cause the droid to shut-off. Each of the droids hands are equipped with several gripper fingers that are curled around a small connection port, and the sword hilts are fitted directly into this socket. Each of the Duelist Elite`s comes with three flexisteel rapiers (saber, foil, and epee), and with little work the droid can be modified to wield a vibro-shiv, a force pike, or even a lightsaber.
The head of the Duelist contains a high-speed optic visor. The wires that lead from its auditory sensors are extend behind the droid in a twin arc and then are pluged into an induction spur that is protruding from the lower back. These filaments allow the droid to generate a low-level electromagnetic field that has a two-meter radius. The droids backpack of voltage generators powers the units induction spur, and the units own internal systems.
