Eye of Palpatine took recruits in that reluctant with a stunning shot from the DZ-70 Fugitive Tracker Droids. These droids aren`t just limited to the military though, they are sold in many diffrent droid types on the industrial exchange and in the black-market. All of the models of the droid do have one thing in common with each other and thats its single-minded droid brain that will not rest untill it has hunted down its designated target. These tracker droids are superior to the smaller seeker balls in almost every way except in their price, but the droids programming is more complex, their range is greater, and their accessories are more lethal.

The DZ-70 is an outstanding model that has stood the test of time, and its swollen sphere is coated with a glossy blaster-reflective silver finish. These droid hover above the ground on their manuverable repulsorlift units. The droids high-gain photoreceptors are located next to the sphere`s equator and are evenly spaced around its body to provide the droid the ability to look in all directions at once, and its custom irised apertures allow the eyes to widen and contract. The droids dangling tentacles located beneath the bottom of the sphere are equipped with a number of pincers, sensor wands, and weapons emplacements.

The droids powerful repulsor engine allows the droid to haul unconscious or dead targets several kilometers to the pick up area, and it uses its largest grasper arm to move the target, but it does take several DZ-70`s workin in concert to budge a Wookiee body. The stun blaster cannon protrudes from its underbelly and is capable of tracking and firing in any direction. Under Imperial law it is a felony for civilians to own a lethally modified tracker, but this fact is routienly ignored in the frontier territories like the Outer Rim.

The primary circuit matrix of the DZ-70 is sophisticated but not at all versatile, which means it only does one thing and it does it well. The droids can be programmed with the target`s appearance, mass, body temperature, heart rate, and movement patterns, and its sensors are used to detect these parameters. There is a big draw back to the DZ-70 it is very maintenance-intensive, and its delicate detection equipment requires constant cleaning and realignment, with a complete diagnostic overhaul every twelve to fifteen months.
